God is stirring in the hearts of young people in all corners of the earth. This generation, one that lives in a time of debauchery and meaninglessness, is desperately seeking the truth. It is honestly a matter of life and death. When the world and their own ways fail them, when the hollow patterns of life are proven purposeless without God, where will they go?
Now is a time to be fully equipped with the Truth, to know how to speak it well, and to smuggle our way into the hearts of many young people through wisdom and love.
Now is a time to stir the Faith of new believers. As described in the book of Hebrews, to have Faith is to be certain of what you hope may come to pass. This requires an active pursuit of Christ, not a life of stagnation. A motionless person is not a hopeful person. In all things, align with Christ to bring about His future, and the work of your hands will become perfected in a union with God Himself. In a world of meaninglessness, true meaning is found in Faith.
Now is a time for courageous believers, who are willing to stake their careers, their reputations, and even their lives on Faith in a God not seen.
It is not enough only to be a follower, or attend a service, or read your Bible; these alone are the form without the telos. We must devote ourselves—our hearts and souls, our skills, our passions, our every moment—to our Savior, and build His future, even unto death. Our time is now.
I cannot prove it, but by my faith I know it. I am seeking a future I cannot see, but my conviction is stronger than ever. I have hope for a generation that has deemed itself hopeless, because I am certain of the Image of God inherent in every man. It is time for the drunken giant that is the American church to sober up and remember its calling.

God has empowered me to devote my time to these missions; while few people can give their time in this way, many would like to participate with their resources. While this work is difficult to do individually, we can accomplish so much more as partners.

At the beginning of November, GFM will take a missions team into Vietnam and Taiwan to bring the Word, encouragement, and spiritual support.

I want to prayWe will leave soon for Asia, and we are planning another trip toward the end of winter. Please pray for our upcoming mission trip: safety, courage, wisdom, peace, and love for God’s people.
Jaren's individual travel
I want to prayIn addition to Taiwan and Vietnam, I will be visiting a friend in a closed country in less than a week. He and his wife have moved to a very volatile region of the country in order to reach the people there. Please pray that our time together is good and fruitful, and that they can safely spread the gospel in this area.
Provision
I want to prayKatee and I are trusting the Lord for provision for our family. As always, your prayers for His provision are appreciated.
Finally, I want to extend to you my gratefulness for joining GFM on this journey. I know we are not very conventional in our approach; God’s plan can be confusing at times. Despite that, you have come alongside us, aligning with the vision God has placed in our hearts. May we always do His will, and may we see that vision come to fruition together.
